Charles Tamberg
1st Vice President
Charles was born in Akron, OH. He joined the Navy in February, 1972. His commands included the USS YOSEMITE (AD-19), USS TALBOT (FFG-4), USS BADGER (FF-1071), SIMA Little Creek, VA, DYNAMIC (AFDL-6). He reported to USS TICONDEROGA (CG-47) on November, 1991, where he served as the Fire Marshall and Damage Control Team Trainer. Charles then served on the Hampton Roads Area Shore Patrol before retiring in 1997. He then immediately had back surgery at the VA Hospital in Richmond, VA. A year later, Charles attended the Advanced Technology Institute in Virginia Beach where he studied automobile systems. He was then employed by various Nissan dealerships in the Hampton Roads area. He moved to Alliance, Ohio, in 2006 and went to work for Advanced Auto. In 2013 he moved to Seminary, Mississippi, where he continued to work for Advanced Auto. In 2018 he retired. Again.
Charles joined the Association in 2022.
